Standard felt underlay provides a reasonable level of noise reduction whilst minimising carpet movement and acts as a barrier between your vehicles steel floor and carpet. This helps maximise the life of your vehicles carpet. We supply sufficient underlay in 1800mm x 900mm rolls to cover the cabin floor of your vehicle.
Our Water Proof Underlay is a 10 mm thick single layer closed cell foam, meaning it does not hold water. It also works great as a thermal and acoustic insulation barrier.
It is suitable for 4x4's, convertibles and industrial vehicles which get constant exposure to wet environments.
Our Water Proof Carpet Underlay will not stay damp, smell, rot or attract mold like pre-dated cotton mill scrap, traditionally used under carpets.
It comes with a peel and stick backing and is easy to cut and install

Soundproof / Water resistant Underlay
The manufacturer of this Mass Noise Liner Underlay believes it is the best carpet underlay on the market, hands down! It is a heavy weight sound barrier, with a total thickness of 8mm and it will package under your carpet as a premium carpet underlay and it is used in high end luxury vehicles.
The Mass Noise Liner Underlay gives excellent sound deadening when used on it's own or can be used in conjunction with butyl based Sound Deadeners. The lower foam layer works as a de-coupling layer to suspend the MLV (mass loaded vinyl) which is effectively a sound blanket. The approach using these 3 x materials (dampening, de-coupling and blocking) is the most you can do in the minimal space between your carpet and floor pan. This is the same approach used by noise, vibration and harshness engineers when designing high end luxury vehicles.
Note: Due to the weight of our Mass Noise Liner and the fact it is non stick, it is not recommended for use on the underside of horizontal surfaces (roofs).
About our Moulded Carpets
A fibreglass mould from the vehicles original floor pan is used to produce moulded carpet in two pieces, heat pressed from the original mould. The result is a front and rear moulded carpet that fits perfectly with the exact contours of the floor. The front and rear sections overlap neatly under the seats. A quality drivers heel mat is stitched into the drivers foot well. There are no holes put into any of our moulded carpets in case modifications are required.
About our Moulded Vinyl
High quality moulded vinyl flooring was developed for those applications where a wipe or hose out material is more suitable, such as the work vehicle that goes in the mud or the weekend 4WD adventure Vehicle. Our moulded vinyl is tough hardwearing heavy duty vinyl that won't absorb water or moisture and is available for most 4x4s, utes, vans, cars and some trucks.

We send all of our products via Australia Post Registered Parcel Post, or via courier that requires a signature upon delivery. Alternatively, you can leave a note at checkout to instruct the courier to leave the parcel somewhere safe.
If you are not home at delivery and you have not left delivery instructions, you will get a delivery slip advising that you have a parcel ready for collection from your Post Office, or to arrange re-delivery from the courier.
Your parcel will be fully tracked so delivery can be monitored.
Delivery within Australia is approximately 3-7 working days, depending on Australia Post or our courier service lead times from Victoria to different areas within Australia.

Refunds will be for the price you paid to CarMatsDirect for the item that is subject to a refund. You can elect if the refund is by direct debit to the credit card account you used when making the purchase. You can choose an alternative remedy to a refund. In these circumstances you may want an exchange, a credit note or to have the goods repaired.

Is there a time limit for refunds?
You need to approach us regarding a refund in what is called ‘a reasonable period of time’. There is no specific time limit for a refund. A reasonable period of time is determined by a court based on the goods, their use and any other relevant information. Statutory time limits in various State and Territory legislation for an action for breach of contract are also relevant.
No one likes ordering or receiving the wrong items and customer satisfaction is "OUR PRIORITY", so we have made every effort during the checkout process to eliminate the possibility of our customers selecting incorrect fitting items for their specific vehicle model.
